I have these growing in my backyard. Apparently they are valuable to many people but I am not one of them, I don't do mushrooms on anything. I'm wondering how I can get these into the hands of someone that wants them. Do I sell them, find someone who wants them, dry them? Maybe I could go to the farmers market and see if someone wants to sell them. I have no clue but we're waiting to mow the lawn until we find out.
Let me know if you have any ideas or know someone who would want a bucket full of morel mushrooms.

Unfortunately I got home to a mowed lawn yesterday with mushrooms strewed about. Apparently my fiance didn't take me seriously when I said I wanted to do something with them. But we did save a few, I'm just worried they won't last too long now that they're out of the ground. Let me know what you want me to do, I'd love to share them.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have them. They are pretty tasty when fried, and I grew up hunting them every spring with my family. Yum!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you pick them, put them in a brown paper bag, unwashed, and they will keep in the fridge for days.
